Trail description

Higashi-Hobbenzan, 734 m, stands on the border of Yamaguchi and Hagi and is a symbol of Yamaguchi city, called Yoshiki Fuji by Kishi Nobusuke. This route climbs from the Yamaguchi side to the summit. A forest fire decades ago cleared the top of trees, so it now has a 360 degree view over Yamaguchi and the surrounding mountains. It is one of the new 100 famous mountains of Japan.
