Trail description

Futatabisan, 470 m, rises in the western Rokko mountains above central Kobe, in Setonaikai National Park. This route climbs from the Nunobiki side on old paths to the Futatabi Park area and the summit. A temple to Kannon was founded near the top in the Nara period, and Dairyuji continues it today. The area has been protected as a permanent planting reserve since the Meiji reforestation and is one of Kobe's best known hiking areas.
