Trail description

From Tokachidake Onsen, at the Ryounkaku lodge, the trail climbs through creeping pine to the flower fields below Mount Furano and up to its summit (1,912 m), at the southern end of the Tokachi range, with views over Furano and the Daisetsuzan. Brown bears live in the area, and nearby Tokachidake is an active volcano.
