Trail description

From the Sanmata car park above Azumino the trail climbs steeply through forest, about 1,370 m, to the broad ridge of Mount Cho (2,677 m) and the Chogatake Hutte, with one of the finest views of the Hotaka peaks and Yarigatake across the Azusa valley. Many walkers stay a night at the hut.
