Trail description

Chisenupuri, 1,134 m, is a volcano of the eastern Niseko range in the Niseko-Shakotan-Otaru Kaigan Quasi-National Park. This route climbs from the north past the Naganuma pond to the summit, whose shallow crater holds a high moor and small ponds. The Shinsennuma marsh lies on the lava plateau to the north. The name comes from the Ainu for mountain shaped like a chise, a traditional Ainu house.
