Trail description

Onneto is a lake in Akan-Mashu National Park in Ashoro, formed when an eruption of Meakan dammed the Rawan River. This walk follows the lakeside path along the shore. The lake changes colour with the light and is also called Goshikinuma, the five-colour pond; on calm days it reflects Meakan and Akan Fuji. The name means old or large lake in Ainu.
