Trail description
A 1.7 km climb of about 175 m from the edge of the Kusasenri grassland to the summit of Kishima-dake, 1,326 m, the most accessible of the Aso five peaks. The path is partly paved with stone steps and well marked. From the top the view takes in the caldera floor, the Kusasenri meadows and, weather permitting, the smoking Nakadake crater.
