Trail description

The hardest day of the Kumano Kodo Nakahechi, from Kumano Nachi Taisha over the mountains of the Kii Peninsula to the hamlet of Koguchi, with several long climbs on old stone paving through cedar forest. It takes about eight hours, and there is no shop or water source along the way.
