Kumano Kodo Daimonzaka to Nachi Falls

Trail description

A 2.5 km climb of about 290 m on the Kumano Kodo from Daimonzaka toward Nachi Falls, ending about 130 m from the falls. Nachi Falls drops 133 m in a single fall, 13 m wide, the tallest uninterrupted waterfall in Japan. Two rocks at the top are the guardian kami of the falls and of the Shinto shrine.
