Trail description

A short walk of under 1 km up the approach through the cedar forest to Kirishima Jingu in Kagoshima, a vermilion shrine on the flank of the volcanic Kirishima range, and its sacred thousand-year-old tree. It is atmospheric, green and often veiled in mountain mist.
