Kakumanbuchi Marsh Akagi

Trail description

Kakumanbuchi is a small marsh at about 1,360 m near the summit lakes of Mount Akagi, known as Little Oze. This short walk starts from the Konuma parking area and follows paths and the boardwalk to and around the marsh. Skunk cabbage flowers in spring, Japanese azaleas in June and autumn colours in October, and sundews and day lilies also grow here. The loop around the marsh takes about 30 minutes.
