Trail description
A 1.6 km climb of about 250 m from the Happoike Sanso hut at the top of the Happo-One lifts, past the stone cairns, to Happo Pond at 2,060 m above Hakuba. The first stretch crosses loose serpentinite rock that is slippery when wet, then boardwalk and rocky path. On clear days the pond reflects the peaks of the Northern Alps, and the season runs from July to November.
