Trail Description
A gentle highland loop across the marshy summit plateau of Hachimantai on the Iwate and Akita border. Boardwalks cross alpine wetland past the mirror pond and the eye-shaped Megane ponds with wide mountain views. It is an easy and beloved plateau walk.
