Trail description

Doryu no Taki is a waterfall in the Kawamata river gorge on the Kiyosato plateau in Hokuto, Yamanashi, about 10 m high and 15 m wide. This walk follows the Kawamata Higashizawa gorge path to the falls. Groundwater from the southeast foot of Yatsugatake seeps out between layers of lava, so the water falls like silk threads from the rock and stays cold and steady all year. The name means the falls breathed out by a dragon.
