Trail description

An 8.3 km climb of about 840 m from Colle Impiso through beech forest and the Piani di Pollino to Serra Dolcedorme at 2,267 m, the highest summit of the southern Apennines. The ridge is home to the rare Bosnian pines, the symbol of the Pollino National Park. It is a long day with no water above the forest.
