Rocciamelone dalla Riposa

Trail description

A long, steep climb from La Riposa above Mompantero past the Ca' d'Asti hut and the Crocetta to the summit of the Rocciamelone (3,538 m), with its chapel and statue. The upper part is steep and rocky. At this altitude the air is thin and snow can linger: only go in settled weather and turn back if conditions change.
