Trail description

A 2.9 km walk with about 125 m of climbing across the slopes below the Canin to the Rifugio Celso Gilberti at 1,850 m, above Sella Nevea. The refuge stands on a rock knoll in the Prevala valley on the north-west side of the Canin group. The limestone wall of the Canin, Monte Forato and Ursic forms the border with Slovenia.
