Trail description

A 4.3 km climb of about 970 m from the Prati di Tivo ski area to the Rifugio Franchetti at 2,433 m, in a hollow below the Corno Piccolo and the Corno Grande, the highest summit of the Apennines. The path is steep and rocky in its upper part. The hut is in the Gran Sasso National Park and opens in summer.
