Trail description
A 4.4 km climb of about 700 m from Piglionico past the Rifugio Rossi to the Pania della Croce at 1,859 m, the queen of the Apuan Alps. The marble peaks drop to the sea, and on clear days the view runs from Corsica to the Apennines. The final ridge is rocky and exposed.
