Trail description

A 3.3 km climb of about 400 m from near Forca di Presta over Monte Vettoretto and past the Tito Zilioli bivouac to about 2,450 m on the summit ridge of Monte Vettore. At 2,476 m Vettore is the highest peak of the Sibillini mountains, in the province of Ascoli Piceno. It is a limestone mountain rich in Jurassic ammonite fossils.
