Monte Meta

Trail description

A 6 km climb of about 880 m from Campitelli past the Le Forme bivouac and Passo dei Monaci to the summit of Monte La Meta, 2,242 m. It is one of the main peaks of the Marsican mountains, on the border of Lazio and Abruzzo inside the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park. Its south-eastern slopes hold the highest point of Molise, at about 2,170 m.
