Trail description

A steep 2 km climb of about 390 m to the summit of Monte Barro, 922 m, the isolated mountain above Galbiate between Milan and Lecco. The mountain is almost all within Galbiate and its regional park. Excavations in 1986 to 1997 found important early medieval remains on the mountain.
