Trail description

A long 10.4 km climb of about 1,100 m from the Blockhaus along the broad ridge of the Majella to Monte Amaro at 2,793 m, the second highest summit of the Apennines. The way crosses open, stony plateau with no water or shelter until the red bivouac on the summit, so it needs settled weather.
