Trail description
A 6 km loop with about 250 m of climbing around the island of Palmaria from Terrizzo, past Forte Umberto I, the cliff above the Grotta dei Colombi and Forte Cavour. Palmaria, five minutes by boat from Portovenere, is part of a UNESCO World Heritage site. Finds in the Grotta dei Colombi, reached only by rope, show it was used in the Ice Age.
