Trail description
A 3.6 km climb of about 340 m from near sea level to the rim of the Gran Cratere on Vulcano, the southernmost of the Aeolian Islands. The crater tops the Fossa cone, the island's most recently active centre, which last erupted from 1888 to 1890. The word volcano comes from the island's name.
