Gola di Gorropu da Genna Silana

Trail description

An out-and-back walk from Genna Silana on the SS125 down through the Supramonte to the entrance of the Gola di Gorropu and back the same way, about 630 m down and the same climb back up. The gorge is one of the deepest in Europe, with walls up to 500 m high; a small fee is charged to enter it, where boulders soon make the going hard. The climb back is long and exposed to the sun.
