Cima Sighignola

Trail description

A 3.1 km climb of about 400 m from Lanzo d'Intelvi to the top of Monte Sighignola, 1,314 m, beside the Balcone d'Italia viewpoint. The mountain stands on the border between Lombardy and the Swiss canton of Ticino. The terrace looks west over Lake Lugano and the city of Lugano to the Alps, as far as Monte Rosa.
