Trail description

A 3.2 km walk of about 150 m of climbing from the SS83 up the La Camosciara road into the Camosciara amphitheatre, ending at the Cascata delle Tre Cannelle. The Camosciara integral nature reserve, in the municipality of Civitella Alfedena, is the original core of the Abruzzo, Lazio and Molise National Park, founded in 1923. Until 1912 the area was a royal hunting reserve of the House of Savoy, and its roads have been closed to motor traffic since the 1990s.
