Trail description
A forest loop at Gougane Barra in west Cork, where Saint Finbarr founded a hermitage. From the oratory on its little island the route follows the lake shore into the forest park, where waymarked trails climb by the young river Lee to a viewpoint over the valley. A tranquil and beautiful spot at the source of the Lee.
