Trail description
In Glanteenassig Forest Park in the Slieve Mish Mountains, this short loop starts at the upper car park and follows a raised bog bridge all the way around Lough Caum. The lake lies 210 metres above sea level beneath Stradbally Mountain and Beenoskee, and loose boulders on the slopes give the valley a rugged, remote feel. Coillte lists the Lough Caum Loop at 2 km, about an hour.
