Trail description
A climb to Galtymore, the highest inland mountain in Ireland, in the Galtee range. From the south the old Black Road climbs past the 1976 aircraft memorial onto open moor and up to the broad summit, with a vast view over the surrounding plains. A big open hill that feels remote despite its central location.
