Alamut Castle Climb

Trail description

A short steep climb to the ruins of Alamut Castle, the legendary fortress of the Assassins perched on a rock spur in the Alborz. From the foot of the rock a footpath and long flights of steps climb to the castle, with commanding views over the green Alamut valley. About 1.6 km there and back.
