Rinjani Sembalun to the Summit and Segara Anak

Trail description

The classic three-day Rinjani trek on Lombok from Sembalun across the savanna to the crater-rim camp at Plawangan Sembalun, then before dawn up the loose volcanic ridge to the 3,726 m summit, and down into the caldera to the Segara Anak lake and its hot springs. Walkers return by the same way or exit over the Senaru rim. Treks must be booked through the eRinjani system with a licensed guide or porter, and the park closes from January to March.
