Mount Prau

Trail description

A short steep climb to a grassy ridge in the Dieng plateau of central Java, famous for its sunrise. The trail rises through farmland and forest to open rolling tops known as the golden hills. From the summit a line of volcanoes floats above the clouds at dawn.
