Mount Papandayan Crater Walk

Trail description

A walk from the Papandayan car park up through the steaming crater field of this active volcano near Garut. The path winds past yellow sulphur vents and bubbling fumaroles on bare grey slopes. One of the most accessible and rewarding crater walks in west Java.
