Trail description
The climb from the Cibodas gate of Gede Pangrango National Park past the Cibereum falls, the hot water stream and the Kandang Badak camp to the forested 3,019 m summit of Mount Pangrango and the Mandalawangi meadow. About 18.3 km out and back with some 2,150 m of climbing; most walkers take two days and camp at Kandang Badak. Climbers must book online with the national park, which closes the mountains in the wet season.
