Trail description

A multi-day expedition in South Sulawesi from the village of Karangan through rainforest and mossy forest to Rante Mario, at 3,478 m the highest summit of the Latimojong range and of Sulawesi. About 15.8 km out and back with some 2,180 m of climbing; most groups take three days, camping at Pos 5 on the way up and back. Register in Karangan; local guides and porters are usual.
