Mount Gede via Cibodas

Trail description

The main route up Mount Gede in Gede Pangrango National Park, from the Cibodas gate past Telaga Biru, the Cibeureum falls junction and the hot water stream to the camp at Kandang Badak, then up to the steaming crater rim at 2,958 m. Most walkers camp and climb to the rim for sunrise. Climbers must book an online permit with the park, which limits numbers and closes the mountain in the wet season.
