Trail description

The steep classic route up Mount Cikuray near Garut, from the transmitter station above the Dayeuhmanggung tea estate straight up a forested ridge to the 2,821 m summit, the highest in Garut, famous for sunrise over a sea of clouds. About 7.2 km out and back with some 1,270 m of climbing; many walkers camp below the top. Register at the Pemancar basecamp.
