Mount Burangrang

Trail description

From the basecamp at Legok Haji above Cisarua, north-west of Bandung, the trail climbs a grassy ridge with wide views, then enters forest with a few steep, muddy sections where hands are needed, to the 2,064 m summit of Burangrang with its large summit pillar. Burangrang is a remnant of the ancient Mount Sunda; the return to Legok Haji takes about two hours.
