Trail description
A long climb from Tretes in East Java up the forest track to the Pondokan sulphur miners' camp and on through casuarina forest to the 3,339 m summit of Mount Arjuno. About 22.8 km out and back with some 2,500 m of climbing; most walkers take two days and camp at Pondokan or Lembah Kijang. Register at the Tretes post of the Raden Soerjo forest park.
