Trail description

Nag Tibba, 3,022 m, is the highest peak of the Lesser Himalaya in Garhwal and gives its name to the Nag Tibba Range, about 57 km from Mussoorie. This route climbs about 4 km on a forest path to the summit. The mountain is held to be the abode of Nag Devta, the snake god, and local villagers come to the small temple at the top to pray for the protection of their cattle. From the summit there is a view of the Bandarpoonch range of the Great Himalaya toward Yamunotri.
