Trail description

A tough two-day trek from the temple town of Kukke Subramanya through dense forest to Bhattara Mane and the forest checkpost, then over Shesha Parvatha to Kumara Parvatha, at 1,712 m one of the highest peaks of Kodagu. Online booking with the Karnataka Forest Department is required and the number of trekkers is limited. Most walkers camp near the checkpost.
