Harishchandragad from Khireshwar

Trail description

A climb from Khireshwar village by the Junnar Darwaza path to the hill fort of Harishchandragad in the Sahyadri, finishing on the Bale Killa top. The fort is known for its ancient Harishchandreshwar temple, the Kedareshwar cave shrine and the vast overhanging cliff of Konkan Kada, and many walkers sleep in the caves to watch sunset from the Kada.
