Bijli Mahadev from Chansari

Trail description

A 2.8 km climb of about 550 m from the village of Chansari above Kullu up steps and forest paths to the Bijli Mahadev temple at about 2,450 m, whose tall staff is said to draw lightning that breaks the stone lingam, which the priests then mend with butter. The views reach over the Kullu and Parvati valleys.
