Tungudalur Bunarfoss Walk

Trail description

A 3.2 km walk of about 80 m of climbing from Isafjordur west into the Tungudalur valley to the Bunarfoss waterfall, past the Tunguskogur woodland. Isafjordur, with about 2,600 people, is the largest settlement in the Westfjords. Its old centre stands on a sand spit in Skutulsfjordur, a side fjord of Isafjardardjup.
