Trail description
A 1.5 km walk from the Tun district in Reykjavik out to the tip of the Laugarnes peninsula, where the Sigurjon Olafsson sculpture museum stands. Laugarnes is first mentioned in Njals saga: Hallgerdur langbrok lived her last years there, and the saga says she is buried on the land. The route is nearly level, with about 20 m of climbing.
