Trail description
A two-day walk down the Jökulsárgljúfur canyon in Vatnajökull National Park, from Dettifoss, Europe's most powerful waterfall, past Hólmárfossar and the camp at Vesturdalur with the basalt formations of Hljóðaklettar, to the horseshoe-shaped gorge of Ásbyrgi. Most walkers camp at Vesturdalur, roughly halfway.
