Trail description
A 2 km coastal walk of about 140 m of climbing at Reykir on the Reykjastrond coast of Skagafjordur, starting by Grettislaug. The warm spring is named after Grettir the Strong, who according to Grettis saga warmed himself in a warm spring here just above the tide line. The nearby Glerhallavik cove is rich in chalcedony.
