Brúarfoss Blue Waterfall

Trail description

A 4.6 km walk with barely 20 m of climbing between Brúarfoss and Brekka, crossing the Vallá stream and following the old Biskupagötur path for much of the way. Brúarfoss is fed by the Brúará river, whose glacial meltwater from Langjökull gives the falls their sky blue colour. The path can be muddy and slippery, so good boots help.
